About Mrs. Fencik
I am an active participant at HMES in committees such as PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) and Environmental.
Education: Associates Degree, Georgia Perimeter College, A.S. Special Education, Undergraduate Degree, Georgia State University 2012, B.S. Early Childhood Education & Special Education, Graduate Degree, Piedmont College 2014, M.B.S Early Childhood Education. Piedmont College 2016, E.d.S Instruction and Curriculum.
Experience: 2 years in Gwinnett County and 6 years completed in Dekalb County Schools. I will begin my 9th year teaching virtually 4th grade math, science, and reading. This will be a new beginning for all of us, but we will make it through together!
Background: I grew up in a household of 5, with two younger brothers, my mom, and dad. I am now a memberof a blended family with many step parents, brothers, and sisters. I enjoy school and continue to seek a higher education. I love to work out, travel, hang out with my dogs (Fran and Baylee) and read non-fiction books. I married my best friend last October and we are expecting our first child in September. I am energetic and eager to share my travel experiences and knowledge with my students each day.
