Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a nationwide, school culture initiative that is meant to unify behavioral expectations across our school and help students to better understand, meet, and surpass our expectations no matter where they are: the cafeteria, restroom, hallway, playground, classroom, and even the bus. Our students received a lot of training at the beginning of the school year and throughout the year will receive consistent reminders and targeted lessons. Please see the PBIS Matrix on this page for more specifics as to our expectations for performance. Along with the expectations come rewards for demonstrating excellence. Students receive Mill Money and have an opportunity to cash it in to purchase privileges and incentives.
